Our White Stone Ceremony
First Unity Church invites you to experience our final special service of the holiday season — our White Stone Ceremony and Souper Sunday Luncheon. We warmly welcome you, your family, and your friends to join us for this transformative holiday service.
On January 11 at 10:30 a.m., our White Stone Ceremony offers a sacred opportunity to listen deeply for a sacred word or phrase representing what you are called to be in 2026. Through this powerful ritual, you consciously let go of the past and make room for Spirit to move in new and impactful ways and to begin the New Year with clarity, freedom, and peace.
Each participant receives a white stone from Jerusalem upon which to write this new intention, symbolizing freedom, renewal, and a powerful fresh start.
For online participants: you may use a small white stone found outdoors and write your new name on the stone with a marker.
Souper Sunday Luncheon
The ceremony will be followed by a Souper Sunday Luncheon, featuring a variety of delicious soups and chili prepared by our congregants. Please bring one or two cans of soup or chili for the “Feed My People” food pantry.
