White Stone Ceremony and Souper Sunday Luncheon — Rev. Jan Mourning, January 11, 2026

First Unity Church’s January 11, 2026, Sunday Service is our White Stone Ceremony from Rev. Jan Mourning; the service is at 10:30 a.m.

The powerful White Stone Ceremony explores the mystic question, “What have I come here to be in 2026?” During a time of meditation, you will be guided to your personal vision for the New Year, and you will receive a white stone from Jerusalem on which to write your new identity. Join us!
For the White Stone Ceremony, each participant will write this new intention on their white stone, symbolizing freedom, renewal, and a powerful fresh start. For online participants: you may use a small white stone found outdoors and write your new name on the stone with a marker.
Souper Sunday Luncheon

The ceremony will be followed by a Souper Sunday Luncheon, featuring a variety of delicious soups and chili prepared by our congregants. Please bring one or two cans of soup or chili for the “Feed My People” food pantry.

January 11 Musical Guest – Joanna Serenko

Singer, guitarist, and songwriter Joanna Serenko won first place in the “Fox Theater Teen Talent” competition. She subsequently appeared multiple times on the NBC program “The Voice.” Her most recent album “The Best of Me” is available on all major streaming services.
